that provides an AfterSchool Program and Summer Program for 1st grade through 6th grade students within our Jonesboro Community. CityYouth Ministries have been an integral part of the Jonesboro community since 1999. Through donations, various community partnerships, grant funding, local churches and individual donors we are able to provide our programs at no cost to our students and their families. We offer academic tutoring, homework help as well as exciting extra curricular activities such as tennis lessons, dance, yoga and gym recreation. However, Jesus is at the center of everything that we do as we strive to make Christ known. We do this by offering discipleship groups, praise and worship and devotional time.

All About The Learning
Through our partnership with the Jonesboro School District we are able to provide individual academic tutoring to all of our students utilizing curriculum used in their local magnet schools. On staff is a certified teacher to instruct and assist our students in both a group and individual setting. These academic programs are designed to ensure that all students are prepared for the transition to Jr. High and High School on time, ready for a post-secondary education & a 21st-century career.

Extra Curriculars
Through community partnerships we are able to provide exciting extra curricular enrichment activities. A few examples of this are tennis lessons, yoga class, dance instruction, fine arts opportunities, and financial literacy programs. These programs develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors to nurture their well-being, set personal goals & grow into self-sufficient adults.
